How To Apply The MirTouch Patch

Step 1

PREP YOUR SKIN

Clean and dry your skin. Shave around the sensor if needed. Prep with the included barrier wipes.

Step 2

REMOVE CENTER TABS

While holding tabs on the edges, carefully peel off center tabs to reveal adhesive.

Step 3

PLACE IT OVER SENSOR

Place the center of the adhesive patch directly over the center of sensor and rub it gently.

Step 4

PEEL OFF SIDE TABS

Gently remove the side tabs to expose the adhesive edges.

Step 5

PEEL CLEAR FILM. SMOOTH PATCH

Lastly, remove the protective clear film, and gently press on the patch to remove any air or bubbles.

Before applying the patch, make sure your skin is clean and completely dry, with no oils or lotions that could affect adhesion. For best results and easier removal, you may choose to shave any hair around the sensor area if needed. Finally, use the included skin barrier wipes to prepare the skin for a secure, long-lasting bond.

For proper application, carefully peel away half of the backing and position the patch evenly over your sensor using the green strip guide, avoiding contact with the adhesive. Once aligned, remove the remaining backing and gently smooth down the patch, pressing along the edges and across the surface to ensure it bonds securely to your skin.

After applying, allow at least one hour for the patch to cure before showering, swimming, or engaging in sports. When it’s time to remove it, gently lift an edge and peel in the direction of hair growth to reduce discomfort. If you have sensitive skin or difficulty removing the adhesive, a medical-grade adhesive remover can make the process easier and gentler.

No. Our products are designed to be intuitive, so you can start using them right out of the box without complicated setup.

Does this come with a libre 3 sensor?

No, it does NOT. This listing is for the patches only.

How long after you put the patch on can you take a shower?

That's a great question. The patch should bond with your skin almost instantly, especially if you use one of our complimentary skin barrier wipes, however, generally we recommend allowing at least 60 minutes for the patch to fully adhere to your skin before taking a shower, bathing, or jumping in a body of water.
