Instructions for the MirTouch 80ml Pocket Sharps Container
To remove and discard used pen needles:
- Do not re-shield the needle. Hold the container in the palm of your hand or place it a flat surface. While holding the container with one hand carefully insert the pen tip into the center opening.
- Pull the pen back through the loosening teeth until it clicks in place.
- While holding the container, rotate the pen counter-clockwise to loosen the pen needle. Continue rotating until the needle is safely detached from the pen. The needle will fall into the container.
- If the pen needle gets caught in opening, use the pen to push it into the container. Do not use your finger or hand.
- When the sharps reach the fill line, push the tab two clicks to the permanent lock position.
» PUSH THE TAB ONCE TO THE “CLOSE” POSITION AFTER EACH USE. WHEN THE SHARPS REACH THE FILL LINE, PUSH THE TAB TWO CLICKS TO THE PERMANENT “LOCK” POSITION.
ATTENTION! ONCE THE CONTAINER IS PERMANENTLY LOCKED, IT CANNOT BE RE-OPENED!
